![]() Nice big pool, not many using it though, so you will be able to swim around at your leisure. You will be asked to sign the bill, but nothing comes from it. Lots of young, helpful waitors around the pool. So take a sun lounger and order a drink from your place. Even in the middle of the day, there were always many to choose from! No need to get up early to reserve. There are plenty of free sun loungers to go around. I had some fears as it looks rather cramped on the photos, but it feels a lot less cramped in reality. ![]() You could at all times choose between outdoor and indoor seating in the main dining room. Plenty to choose from and coffee served at table if you prefered. Welcome bottle of wine in room! Slept nice and woke up early for yoga and swim by the pool. Small minifridge with water, some beers and pepsis. Safety box free, coffee&tea make in room. Beds were comfortable and it seemed as if there were a pillow choice, which we didn't observe until the last days. Some tv channels, but we actually didn't bother, didn't go to watch tellie. The road is nothing to worry about, we could hardly hear it. Fresh, clean, well-kept and we did get a very nice view of the pool area as well as the Med at the other side of the road. Even though the rooms are fairly small, they are ok as the door to the balcony upon up a fair amount making the area here part of the room. When we arrived in the room our bags were already there. As the bags were taken to our room, we were invited to the restaurant for sandwiches as the restaurang had already closed. Quick transfer, less than 40 min from Larnaca airport, and greeted with sparkling wine upon arrival. My husband and I spent a week at the Atlantic Bay in early June of 2016 and we were very happy with our stay there. All-in-all, a lovely hotel, lovely rooms, pool and food. Complaints to reception shouldn't even be necessary but were met with an ambivalent response. Many rooms front onto the pool and bar area. That's fine but do they have to be blaringly loud. Similarly, the bar area has been rigged with TV,s for the footy. Surely if you want music, you bring your own but if you want peace and quiet, you're out of luck. Both the main pool and the beach have creepy piped music piped in. Private beach area has a lovely beach restaurant and bar. Beach is across the road, perhaps 3 minutes walk away. Pool area can become a bit cramped but there is not a shortage of beds. Good choice of cooked meals, salads and desserts. Dining room can become a bit squashed and I have to question the practice of waiting to be seated by a maitre-de. Bedroom is bright and fresh and bed is very big and very comfortable. Well situated hotel with large open reception and bar area.
